Seeing a bird fly makes me think that it must be nice to be free like a bird. We can go to the place where we want to, and we can do anything without compulsion. However, it seems contrary when I imagine a bird in a cage. The freedom soon will vanish when the bird are caught and imprisoned in a cage by the hunter. Then, I try to put myself as a bird in the cage. I can feel that it is completely aggravating and anguished. In reality, it almost often happens. Sometimes, we look as though we were a bird in a cage, and the cage seems as if it was a trap for us. Being stuck in one particular situation or condition, we cannot feel the freedom. There will be nothing special in this life if people limit our action or expression.

The statement I have written above compared to the song we have heard on Friday titled ‘I wish I knew how it would feel to be free’, the story may have the similarity. Actually, I do not truly know what happens exactly or what message wants to reveal behind the song. What I only recognize is the person mentioning in the song needs to be free. He desires to get the freedom. While listening to the song and reading the lyric, I could sense the immense wish to be free. In the opening of the song, he may not know anymore how it feels to be free because he no longer lives in the state of being liberty. I think he stays in a huge compulsion making his life look awfully dull. Maybe, the pressure comes from the environment nearly him, such as, the law of the government at that time or his family. He acting like a puppet which is controlled by the puppeteer, it causes him do not see how life supposed to be. He even hopes that he can break all the chains holding him. I suppose he exists in the condition where he cannot express something freely. He has to pretend to be all right even though he realizes everything around him may give pressure to him.
