Executive Summary

HP has invested a lot of time and resources for an effective Knowledge Management system to support their company. This has been happening for quite some time that HP can be regarded as one of the role models in applying Knowledge Management in their company. Their Knowledge Management initiatives such as “Knowledge Links” and “Shared Services” have really been a great help in HP’s success.

Of course, there is still room for improvement. There is still some area of Knowledge Management that can still be harnessed in order to help HP stay ahead of the competition.

This report will discuss on HP’s Knowledge Management initiatives, what they have achieved with it, and what more can HP do to improve on it.
