OBESITY IN WANIGASAU SETTLEMENT IN LAMI
AIM
The aim of my research is to:
• Find out what is obesity, the causes, symptoms and how it can be treated
• To find out mothers who suffer from obesity in my neighborhood and how it has affected their livelihood.
• Do a sample study in my neighborhood and trying to relate it to the Fiji Population
• To dig into the topic and know more about it and also try to educate people, ways of life so that they don’t suffer from obesity.

My area of study is Wainigasau settlement which is located about 10 miles from Suva City. The settlement has 10 families which consist of 3 Indian families and 7 Fijian families.
I have chosen to interview the ten mothers from each family so that I have a strong analysis about my finding.
