Boeing

Boeing is one of the world’s top airline company and is known for its commercial airplanes, aerospace craft, and military defense aircraft. Boeing provides products to customer’s worldwide that operates on a global level and must have a strategical plan and set of functions to be delegated and followed. The planning function of management is an achievement of an organization to set a goal over time and planning for the unexpected can avoid chaos within the organization. Setting goals the company is efficient within its engineering department, sales department, mechanical department, and product testing department.

The main three factors that influences Boeing’s company are formulate contingencies for any errors that may arise, preparing for the unforeseen, and final implementation of the selected plan, communicating to everyone involved the plans, goals, and objectives. Internal and external factors can affect the managing process of Boeing. The company must obey the laws and regulations because the company has products that can kill people in an accident and legal issues are a major factor within the company.

According to Pritchard (2004), managers within the company must incorporate this requirement into their planning by ensuring that engineers can create detailed plans for every repair issues that may arise with the aircraft. Boeing also has ethical issues that affect management planning.
