Child abuse happens in every state, in every country and can happen to any child. It is up to the people around the child or children to note the signs and take positive action if need be. Child abuse can be defined as causing or permitting any harmful or offensive contact on a child’s body; and, any communication or transaction of any kind which humiliates, shames, or frightens the child. Some experts of child abuse go a bit further to define child abuse as any act or omission, which fails to nurture or the upbringing of the children. There are many ways you can tell if a child is being abused, there are many negative affects to child abuse, and there are many options you have to give help to the abused child. The solutions and answers to all of these are stated in this essay. If you think a child is being abused, please act accordingly. No one should have to suffer because someone didn’t feel or think it was right to tell someone else about what they have seen going on.
