In this supervisor working manual will talk six key responsibilities that will best help a person be a supervisor. These responsibilities are demonstrating communication skills, determining effective orientation and training methods, improving productivity for teams, conducting performance appraisals, resolving conflict and improving employee’s relations. It is my hope after you read this manual you will have a better understand of what is need it to be good responsibilities. Let us first start with demonstrating communication skills, communication skills may be the most important thing you need to know about be a supervisor. Poor communication can make your job as a supervisor hard and can cause the company a lot of problems. The one thing you want to do to make your job run smoothly is to not allow unwanted problems to arise. You need to understand the roles you play when it comes to communication, effective communication with the people you are in charge, can result in a good and smooth run operation. When you learn how to communicate effectively and smoothly, this will help you to maximize "work through others" to get the job done on time and at the best it can be done. There is more than one way to communication to name a few they are, verbal communication skills, listening skills, written memorandums, email, telephone skills. These communication can be used to get and give information, to discipline subordinates, to make assignments, and etc. Let us explore a little more about communication, like what communication mean. Communication is sending of a message to another person to another. For example the person sending the message formulate the message in his or her head, then person get the message must listen to take the message in.
