1. The tongue: is one of the organs, and may be deserved as the most active articulator. It is the most flexible organ because it moves easily and can in contact with other organs of speech in the organ cavity; create a total or partial obstruction during the production of consonants.

2. the teeth: is another important organs in this cavity. The lower from teeth are not so important in speech except that if they are missing certain sound, e.g /s/ and /z/ will be difficult to make.

3. The palate: is yet another important organs in the oral cavity.as you can see from figure [1] the palate forms the roof of the mouth and separates the oral cavity. Now if you make the tip of your tongue touch as much of your own palate as you can, you will observe that most of it is hard and fixed in position, but when the tip of your tongue is as far back as it will go, away from your teeth the palate become soft.

4. Soft palate: you will be able to see the soft palate curing down toward the tongue and becoming narrow as it does so until it end in a point called the uvula.

5. Pharynx: behind the soft palate, be will be able to see part of the back wall of the pharynx. When the soft palate is lowered, it allows the breath of air to pass behind itself and up into the nasal cavity and out through the nose. This is the position of /m/ and /n/ and /ᵑ/.

6. The hard palate: the hard palate is fitted part of the palate, is also divided into two sections as shown in figure. The alveolar-ridge and the hard palate.

7. The alveolar-ridge is that part of the gum immediately behind the upper front teeth and the hard palate is the highest part of the palate, between the alveolar ridge and the beginning of the soft palate.

8. The lips: the oral cavity terminates with the tips and it is obvious that the lips can take up various different position. A sound is being articulated. they can be brought firmly...
