Blood Drive Response

1) We chose to do the blood drive as our service project because we felt that it would be a good way to provide a helpful service to people of need. It helps people by providing people with blood who are in need of it to survive or get better.

2) This service project made me feel like I was providing a service to people who are need in of blood. I learned the importance of giving blood and the different ways our blood can help people in need.

3) I would change this service project by spreading the word to other students more and putting up flyers in the halls to get more people donating their blood.

4) I have always known giving blood is an important thing, and even though I could not give blood this time due to my lacrosse training later that I day, I plan to in the future.

5) I did not give blood because you have to wait 24 hours to train afterward and we are right in the middle of our training and have mandatory lifts Monday- Friday.

6) I serve in order to pay back to my community and make a difference in the life of someone that is in need.

7) I felt good doing this service project because as a school/class we provided blood to the people around us that need it most. The blood goes to hospitals in our area which is a good feelings knowing people may have helped someone they have seen at the market etc.
