Kudler Fine Foods are in the process of developing a new program for their customers. This program is a rewards program for customers to earn rewards through shopping with Kudler and the rewards can be redeemed for items that can be given to the customer. Certain things have to be developed and put into place in order for this rewards program to be successful. But first of all this rewards program would benefit the customer and the company would also benefit with this rewards program. As stated earlier the customer would be able to earn rewards that can be later be used to acquire items for free. The company would benefit from this program by having higher sales which means more money being brought in to the company.

Since this will be a new program and IT staff would have to develop some security issues money being spent would have to be discussed and budgeted. Customers would have to login to the Kudler website and click on the link marked rewards program, after clicking the link they will be directed to sign up page if you are a new customer. Some security issues for this would be customers would have to actually input personal information on this site so the IT staff has to make sure that all information being submitted will stay safe and secure on the site. If the site was to be hacked or information stolen from this site a heavy lawsuit would be brought on by the customer. IT staff has to work diligently to make sure site is secure and no information would be stolen. A heavy fine would be enforced by the State of California and rewards program would be under investigation and shut down if no measurements are taken.

The State of California does not take these types of lawsuits lightly because customers have trust that their information will be secure at all times as stated on the website.
