Life today consists of electronic commerce without even being aware it is present with everyone. Everyday new developments immerge and the Internet grows. Corporations have noticed that the Internet is a best practice for business. The Internet life is easier with the abundant amount of ideas and choices available to shoppers by retailers. The choice to be an online shopping source can make it hard for companies but easier for shoppers. Businesses know this and will continue to strive for growth even with stressful and hostile virtual environments. Obtaining the initial customer is the easy part, continuing to maintain the members and obtain other business members is the challenging part that makes the online business very competitive. Understanding how a shopper thinks and keeping up with the demands is a difficult task that businesses try to target with attempts that lure shoppers onto their website. In this paper, three behaviors will be identified essential in e-tailing. The paper will also describe the communication medium for which the behaviors have occurred and e-commerce is enabled by each medium. Along with this explanation, the communication process will be used to analyze each behavior. After the analyzing the behaviors a sample persuasive message will be constructed and used towards a virtual audience.

Shoppers or consumers begin the search for items, devices or services on the World Wide Web without knowing exactly what is taking place. Shoppers of any product will traditionally flock to trusted makers that they have had reliable service with or trust with their items. Loyalty to a particular retailer or trust to an electronics website can be seen in the behavior e-tailing model (Roebuck &McKenney, 2006). An apple iPod choice can be broken down to the product, process, and partnership with the model.
