When dealing with a relationship with the divine, you are pretty much one on one with your higher being. A divine relationship is very relaxing. You do not have to worry about being overwhelmed by too many outside things. Things become clearer in life. You begin to realize why certain things happen and see that they are miracles and blessings from your higher being. This goes along my family religious traditions, seeing that you only have one higher being (God). I am very comfortable with the relationship of the divine; it fits my lifestyle very well. The fact that you get to be who you are and not what your religion wants you to be, is the most important factor in this relationship.

When dealing with a relationship with sacred time, anything and everything revolves around time. This relationship requires you to devote a lot of time to your religion, from praying time to actual worshiping time. This would have to be one of the hardest relationships as far as religion goes for you average person. This relationship requires you to pretty much be on a set schedule as far as what time will be devoted daily. I myself find it very hard to have a set meal schedule for me and my family, let alone putting in certain hours of the day where I have to devote myself to praying and worshiping my higher being. Those who can actually put in the time and truly devote themselves this would not really be that hard of a relationship to follow by. The cultures that I see following this the most are the Monks, Hebrews, and the Catholic churches. These are primarily isolated cultures, and this gives them the time they actually need to put in as far as praying and worshiping goes.
