Greek Mythology

The Greek legend I chose was a hero, his name was Heracles. Heracles was

very strong and possed superhuman strength and was a champion wrestler.

When he was eighteen he killed a lion and ever since he killed the lion he

wore its skin and the lions head was still attached. Heracles is special

because he was the strongest of all mortal beings. His weapon is a

massive club and bow and arrows. Heracles was also very bad tempered

and he lacked intelligence. His childness acts usually got him in a lot

of trouble.

There are many stories and myths and Heracles. When Heracles a baby

an evil women named Hera sent two snakes to kill Heracles, but he grabbed

the snakes by the throat and strangled them. Hera is Zeus’s wife but Zeus

had an affair with a mortal women and had a baby with her which was

Heracles. Hera was outraged by this but she couldn’t do anything to Zeus so

she decided to take it out on Heracles. This stared a war between Heracles

and Hera.

I chose Heracles because I remember watching the movie when I was

younger. Heracles inspired me by his couragest acts and by how strong he

was. If Heracles was in today’s times he would probably go to war and win

all the battles.
