Complacency, every person one way or another has been in a situation that he or she has been so enthralled in an occurrence while ignoring a nearby danger. In more instances in a community, people are more likely to enjoy and even laugh at someone’s misfortune instead of warning the person of the ensuing danger. In the cartoon Good Vibrations, it shows an example of what everyday occurrence while at work can lure a whole building watching other people’s accidents and laughing about it (Liberty Mutual, 2009). A good community should have a good vibe and people that live in it should feel safe but not only keep an eye out for danger but also lookout for one another.

Using ethical principles to address organizational issues

Teambuilding exercises to support and make aware for hazards on the job and any environment for each individual and to look out for each other as a whole, can highlight ethical principles in order to address organizational issues. The ethical principle in the Good Vibrations video is not only how to have self-responsibility shown by the old man, but also socially responsible unlike the whole building watching all the people walk by and the construction person (Liberty Mutual, 2009).

Importance of the issues in the film

The issue in the film makes light of what the dangers are of complacency of individuals not working together for the greater good of a community but instead self-pleasure for entertainment. Shown in the film is a no age factor or sexual stereotype that every one young and old can be ethical and responsible enough to warn someone about an ensuing danger.
