What are the components of public relations?

Public relations work includes counseling, media relations, publicity, community relations, governmental affairs, employee relations, investor relations, development/fund-raising, special events, and marketing communications. Counseling: providing advice to management concerning policies, relationship and communications. Researched: Determining attitudes and behaviors of publics. Media relations: working with mass media in seeking publicity or responding to their interests in the organization. I’m not a talkative guy, so for me to research and know about other company before setting a meeting will be helpful in the future. Development fund raising: demonstrating the need for and encouraging the public to support an organization through financial contributions.

Multicultural relations/workplace diversity: Relating would help my career a lot, if you can relate yourself to others in the work force it would for you or your organization in the community or the world maybe. Public opinion: is the aggregate of individual attitudes or beliefs. Public opinion can also be defined as the complex collection of opinions of many different people and the sum of all their views or as a single opinion held by an individual about a social or political topic. The meaning of public opinion has changed dramatically over time. Messaging: if I’m running my own organization in the future I have send out a message about the company or service. Marketing: is the process of communicating the value of a product or service to customers, for the purpose of selling the product or service. It is a critical business function for attracting customers. Planning: I have to have a plan set up before I go on any further. Licensing: Without a license you don’t have a business, or organization or event.
