There are many traits that a manger should have within a work place, but here ten will be explain. A manger should have a positive attitude because it helps keep the employees and customers positive, also it puts the work place in a positive mood. A manger should have good organization skills, with this there will be less problems within the workplace and everything will become more productive and run smoothly. Leadership is a huge role when it come to a manager, being a good leader means you are able to give directions and set rules to your employees. A good characteristic will also be motivated. When a manger is motivated in a work place then it will push there employees to be motivated and do there best. When a manger is a team player it shows that they are a people person, and is willing to work with there employees and not just be above them. A real important part of being a manger is having knowledge of the company you are working for. If you don’t know anything about the company, then it will be harder to provide good customer service and to pass down the right information to other employees. A good manger can stay calm in any situation. A company wouldn’t want a person that can break down and not be able to had multiple situations. A good manger should also be respectful, employees would have a harder time coming to someone for guidance when that person don’t respect them.
