Exclusions and Boundaries

The project includes planning and purchasing a facility, performing necessary renovations according to the design provided by the customer, setting up the equipment, hiring personnel, and opening the coffee shop.

Contractor bids and payroll activities are covered under the project

Facility location will be in a high traffic location in close proximity to a centralized business district.

Renovations conducted will be focused around trends that attract the local professional population.

Permits and licenses required to perform renovations. Inspections of renovations will also be handled within the project to ensure correctness and quality of workmanship as well as compliance with local building codes and restrictions.

Equipment inventory will include a minimum of:

* Quality Espresso Machine 

* 1 or 2 Drip Coffee Brewers w/Airports (regarding size of brewer)

* A Larger Drip/Bulk Grinder 

* Small Drip grinder for Decaf

* An Espresso Grinder

* Kettle for loose-leaf /bag Tea

* Upright Freezer

* Upright Refrigerator

* An under counter refrigerator

* Pastry Case/Display case

* Ice Maker with Storage Bin

* Larger Commercial Blender

* Lots of Storage space: racks or shelves (type to be determined by design team)

* Industrial size double sinks

* Wares (mugs, thermometers, 'barista' spoons, steaming pitchers of different sizes, silverware, plates, and other serving utensils.)

* Whipped Cream Dispensers

All financial processes for funding the project will be maintained by the project manager after initial budget approval by the project owner.

Employees hired will be properly trained in accordance with the shop’s governing procedures as well as federal and local health and job regulations. Employees will be taught to operate all equipment on site in accordance with equipment manuals and subject matter experts. Instructors will be provided....
