InterClean Job Analysis

To conduct a job analysis of new sales positions within InterClean, I would use the methods of interviews and job performance and a structured questionnaire. Many of the candidates have several years of sales experience and have many qualities that will be successful in the new sales positions. The applicants are also diverse in age, ethnicity, and years of experience. Interviewing them as well as reviewing their job performance will help to understand the applicants and make a more accurate decision. Completing a structured questionnaire would be necessary in order to have solid information on the employees and not hire for a position just by using job performance .This would help if one of the employees felt that he or she was being discriminated against for any reason. The interview would be based off the questionnaire and what I saw in their job performance.

5 duties of the new sales positions would be as follows:

• The employee must be resourceful and know how to find potential buyers

• Knowledge of the products and services InterClean will provide

• Communication between the sales team and management to ensure proper procedures are being followed and to report on sales information and client information

• The salesperson will need to be able to affectively negotiate and work with the client to produce a successful sell and customer satisfaction

• Follow up on all sales to ensure customer satisfaction

The specifications for the sales position is as follows:

• 3- 5 years of experience in sales related to the products and services InterClean will provide

• Bachelors Degree in related field

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work with software the company will be using
