Once the permit is issued, a minimum notice of 48 hours must be given so the City of Burleson inspector may be assigned.

All facilities installed under pavement shall be buried to a minimum depth of 42 inched under the top of pavement.

6. What are the exact detailed compaction requirements as listed in the manual provided by the city for restoration of any surface that is trenched?

Backfilling and compaction of all bore pits, potholes, trenches, or other holes must be performed on a daily basis or proper protection in accordance with the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration shall be provided.

7. Is the company we hire to do the work required to be registered in any way? Yes the company must be registered with the Department of Engineering Services of the Cityh of Burelson.

8. What is a right-of-way?

The right of way means to restore the public right of way to a condition that is equal to or better than the condition prescribed in this manual or other applicable City design and construction standards. Restoration work must be performed to the satisfaction of the Director.

9. When is interference with traffic flow allowed?

Interference with the traffic flow is allowed through 8:30 a.m. and 4:30p.m through 6:00p.m Monday through Friday.

10. During what hours may work not be done? Work may not be permitted between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00a.m.
