1.0. INTRODUCTION

1.1. Origin of the Report

This report is done as a part of the course called Business Communication, MBA- 506 in East West University. This is a group report. This report contains consumer perception survey of mobile phone and their brand preferences. The report is based on five mobile phone brands in Bangladesh named Nokia, Samsung, symphony, Walton and iphone. The standard procedure for the long, formal report is followed here as par instructors direction. The origin of the report also would include all of the course materials and class lectures on report writing as it would have been impossible for us to complete the report without those.

1.2. Objective of the Study

Specific Objective: To evaluate consumer perception of mobile phone and their brand preference.

Broad Objective: The study is undertaken with the following objectives-

* To recognize the most preferred brand of mobile phone.

* To identify the determinants of customer satisfaction.

* To measure customers’ satisfaction toward mobile phone user in Bangladesh.

* To identify the problems related to customers’ satisfaction of different mobile phone user.

* To prescribe some suggestions so that the management can take steps to solve the problems.

1.3. Scope

These five brands are the leading brands in Bangladesh. They cover huge market not only in Bangladesh but also all over the world. They are dealing with huge customer group. They have access with all level of customer like student- teacher, young- old, service holder- businessman, high income- low income group and so many. Here we will measure different issue like among the brands which is top favorite, which feature customer like most? Which company gives best after sell service?
