1:Ellie was trembling when she was walking into his office and throughout the meeting. She also was thin, very thin with large eyeballs. She was very worked up about everything also.

2:I believe that Ellie could have extreme stress related to the adrenal gland. When you have extremely stressful conditions, you increase your secretion of ACTH which is produced in the anterior pituitary gland which results in an increased secretion of glucocorticoids produced in the adrenal cortex.The stress can become chronic resulting in other problems and if untreated could become very unhealthy to Ellie. Ellie's psychological problems could result from this over stimulation of the brain related to stress causing the trembling and feeling of not having control. Also, not being able to figure out her problem or get a grip is a sign of stress.

1:The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland that sits low on the front of the neck. Your thyroid lies below your Adam's apple, along the front of the windpipe. The thyroid has two side lobes, connected by a bridge (isthmus) in the middle. When the thyroid is its normal size, you can't feel it.

2:T3 and T4: regulates metabolism, maturation of brain and nervous system

3:Hyperthyroidism can cause exophthalmos. The thyroid gland becomes overactive, releasing excess thyroid hormone. Inflammation and excess white blood cells cause the eyes to protrude.

4:Swollen neck could be a sign of thyroid disease, such as hyperthyroidism.

5: Hyperthyroidism. Swollen neck, bulging eyes, weight loss, nervousness, and poor concentration are all symptoms of hyperthyroidism.

6:Hyperthyroidism: low TSH (12.6mcg/dL), elevated T3 (>0.5ng/dL)
