Introduction
Business Communication involves the smooth flow of ideas, information or even opinions between parties involved in the business environment. The parties involved include the employees, the employer or the management and the business clients. According to Tucker and Meyer, effective business communication plays a significant role in the achievement of success in an organization (85). For an organization to realize profits, effective business communication plays a vital role through a number of activities that need to be performed in a flawless manner. No skill can help an individual’s career or a business in as many ways as communication. Communication skills have the ability to improve skills is many vital areas such as listening, team interaction and nonverbal communications. If an employee can improve his communication skills then he/she took the most important step in his/her career. An employee can have a great suggestion or idea but they may not have the ability to express that suggestion or idea clearly and persuasively. To a great degree, for management positions, communication is very important because managers spend most of the time communicating and spend less time using technical skills on the field and more time communicating. Businessmen, who do not have the ability to communicate with a clear manner and assurance, have fewer possibilities for promotion and other positions within an organization.
