Week 3 Reflection

My partner found out that she would be having surgery on Thursday, so we stared working on this standard sooner than we had in the past. We both started filling out the chart, but she sent me hers first. I added the adjustment that I had on my chart and also used the examples that were sent by the professor. We both check the chart several times until we came to a consensus that we both were satisfied with and turned it in. Our goal is to keep working at this until we make an A on this unwrapping assignment. My partner and I work very good together anything that comes up I believe we can solve it together. We work very well together.

The value of this process gave me a better understand of the important aspects of the ISLLC standards. In Standard 3 I learned the importance of management skills, as an educational leader you have to be responsible for having a supportive and safe learning environment for students and faculty, make sure there are adequate resources within a budget, and conduct evaluations and make sure you have the right person in the right place to meet student goals. Along with this management skill you still have to remember to involve students, parents and faculty in accountability of school guidelines and norm for behaviors. This seems like a lot of responsibly but that is why your community and stakeholders are very important to the success of your school.
