INTRODUCTION

Computer technology has become an important part of our modern living as it allows both organization and individual achieve their goals and it is designed with a purpose of solving problems. Technology could make complex procedures efficient, accurate, and fast (Dandare, 2007). Technology is good because it simplifies the way we do things in our daily lives, technology is developed by humans, so we can use it to accomplish almost every task, and it makes the impossible look possible.

At present time, Universities use modern technology in order to respond to demands of their organization. Different transactions have become computerize for greater accuracy and ease. People will be inclined in technology for less work as compared to a manually operations.

Cavite State University – Carmona operates since 2001 and provides services in their students. Over the years more and more students are enrolling in Cavite State University – Carmona. They use manual based system in making the schedules of students. The administrator, who is responsible for mapping the timetable experiences difficulty in making schedule of many students every year. In the manual system, the conflict in schedule is a common problem.

As a response, the researcher came up with the idea of developing the Room Scheduling System for Cavite State University- Carmona that will help to lessen the time and difficulties experienced by the students, instructors and administrator. Room Scheduling System can provide a fast and accurate room schedule.

Significance of the Study

The researcher aim to help the students to give accurate and quick information about their room schedule and giving them a right room depend to their course.

The system also helps staff of the university to view and to search vacant rooms for events, meetings and other related activities.
