Eliminating Stress Effectively

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore effective ways to eliminate stress from your life. There are many different ways to go about doing this. Some methods that work for some people, may not be the same methods that work for others. This is because there are many different types of stress and people tend to deal with their stress in many different ways. In this paper, I will explore the seven effective stress relief tips provided by the well-known public speaker, Robert Rivest.

Eliminating Stress Effectively

Dealing with stress can be both emotionally and physically exhausting for a person. Many people often find that they don’t actually “deal” with the stress in their daily lives, but rather let it continue to build up until it gets out of control. This can be dangerous because once they have so much stress built up, they can end up having a break down. When this occurs, some people even resort to desperate measures, such as suicide. I feel that one of the problems in today’s society is that most people don’t know how to effectively manage or relieve themselves of stress. A well-known public speaker by the name of Robert Rivest created a video called 7 Effective Stress Relief Tips in hopes of reaching out to the people that need help learning to cope with life’s daily struggles. In this paper, I will outline the seven tips that he describes as being an effective way to relieve stress.

According to Rivest, how we manage stress effects every part of our daily lives. He believes that the following seven stress relief tips will help ease daily stress, allowing you to work more effectively and play more freely (Rivest). His first tip is to breathe deeper and slower. This tends to relax the mind and helps you focus better because you are allowing more oxygen into your brain. His second tip is to smile.
