Should we do more to deal with the problem of domestic violence, or is the problem exaggerated?

Argument for:

Should we do more to deal with the problem of domestic violence?

• Yes more should be done because it is still a huge problem to society

• Facts and figures continue to show domestic violence spiralling out of control

Argument against:

Is the problem exaggerated?

• It is not exaggerated because if it were then a significant decrease in domestic violence would be seen now.

• The more the problem is talked about the better even if it may seem as exaggeration

• Most figures and facts are based on accredited sources and research which would not exaggerate the problem.
