Medical Marijuana

All over the nation, Medical Marijuana is a controversial subject of conversation. Some argue that it should be illegal on all grounds, while others rebuttal as proud advocates, representing the medicinal purposes. A total of 15 states have legalized the usage, while 17 are considering it (Green Cross Patient Center).

There are numerous ways to use Medical Marijuana. They include: Treatment for the symptoms of AIDS, Glaucoma, Neuropathy, Cancer patients, pain caused by structural or phycho-physiological disorders, and for the symptoms of movement disorders, such as Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, and Tourette’s. Although Medical Marijuana is approved for these treatments, the FDA does not approve the “smoked cannabis for medical reasons” (Top 10 medical uses for marijuana). It is properly used in pill form.

* Marijuana is effective at relieving nausea and vomiting, especially caused by chemotherapy used to treat cancer.

* Marijuana can relieve certain types of pain.
