Abstract

Explanation of character within marking management and how it is used it today’s society.

SCRIPTURE

2 Peter 1:5-7 “For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love”

SCRIPTURE SEEN IN MARKETING: APPLE

This scripture is one to have saved in your memory bank. Making a continuous effort to make a difference in how you treat overs as well as how you conduct business. Let’s take a look at Apple for an example. Apple is known for its exquisite products and services. When looking into Apple as a company, you see the compassion they have for their consumers. The last sentence in the scripture says it all, “and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love”. Showing compassion and godliness is a way to show your character towards others. Apple has set in place a well diverse company that accepts every race and culture in the marketing world.

I read an article in regards to the marketing world and new trends that are on the raise. The article explained how Apple for example, has shaped and modified its brand from its consumers’ needs. The marketing and advertising industry continues to transform at breakneck speed, as new technologies, methods and tools sculpt a consumer-brand relationship that looks nothing like that of decades ago. Transparency, authenticity and purpose have become table stakes for brands and the businesses behind them that seek to maintain a stronghold as lifestyle necessities (Rooney).
