THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

Introduction

With the rise of globalization and the number of enrollee’s increasing every year. Undeniably, enrollment procedures become harder and harder to handle. The amount of information that needs to be recorded and kept also increases. This makes the process slower and confusing for the registrar. Also, unexpected problems such as loss of information may occur. Thus, it is very essential to find an easier and more effective system to help an academic organization in the realization of their goals to become more productive and give only the best services to their prospective clients or costumers.

Cabatacan National High School is one of the institutions currently using manual system. Manual enrollment system was too slow and too difficult for the school to manage thousands of records of the students and at the same time that is why slow enrolment process is a situation that everyone hates and a problem especially for parents and students.

Enrolment system is a term used frequently in higher education to describe well-planned strategies and tactics to shape the enrolment of an institution and meet established goals. Plainly stated, enrolment system is an organizational concept and a systematic set of activities designed to enable educational institutions to exert more influence over their student enrolments.

In addition, the main purpose of automated enrolment system is to help school manage various operations including data, administrative and fundraising operations. Student may inquire on matters related to admission and enrolment requirements. These systems help to assists the students in their educational need such as the grades or subject reference.
