The Role and Functions of Law

There are numerous roles and functions of law in the society and business places nowadays. Every individual must a bid to laws of both the federal and in the same time state in a given country. This will ensure that there is good co- existence between the law providers and oneself. The judicial review is a type of policy, which is usually under the legislative and the actions of the administrators to the reviewing of the judiciary. These are types of systems which are governing most of the governmental offices, mostly in the United States of America. All the business entities must comprehend to the federal and state court structure.

The main differences between the state courts and the federal courts is that: State courts usually are characterized to have extensive setting and that cases of a particular individual are well incorporated into actions. Some of the cases which are presented in the state courts in America includes inconsequential illegal felonies, broken contracts and in the same time family issues. The major cases, which the states courts are not allowed to hear in the United States of America, are cases, which are claims against the country’s federal laws. Some of federal law cases, which the state cannot hear, includes bankruptcy, antitrust and in the same time flagrant cases (Lauterpacht, 2011).

On the other hand, federal courts are much intricate and the court is able to hear cases which are collated with the constitution and mostly particularly which are quartered by the legislature. In general, cases, which are under the federal court, includes cases, which breach the constitution of the United States of America.
