Every day there are people who have a daily routine, which includes a steady work atmosphere. In the society of the food industry there are the roles and natures of law that seem easy to follow; organizations allow society to provide coworkers a healthy and nonphysical way to resolve problems. This paper will examine the rules and functions they have designed to keep an established work environment.

Without rules and regulations in the business world there would be coworkers that would have to stand up for his or her rights. Physical strength is only one characteristic in the food industry. Morals and justice are next that is needed. There is vast amount that goes into hiring someone in the kitchen of many companies. They have many interviews and are tested with personality test. People need to understand that they are held accountable for the money they carry if they are a server and cook is held accountable for the food they cook. The establishment would not want to cause someone to get sick from food poisoning. The laws provide companies a way to create a foundation that firmly establishes companies to distinguish the difference between whom has the power and who does not. Regardless of what area of liability the company may be discussing, whether it is sexual harassment or food safety, these areas of civil law, the law offers the ability to have peace and mind within the company with the security to the company, which allows the employees the confidence they need to enter in a employer contract and make decisions even if he or she do not personally (Flynn). The legal department can be trusted by all employees and be able to give the comfort that their contracts will be enforced (Mollar).
