Club IT: Part II

Not every club is perfect, some are worse than others and some are just minor adjustments. I know when I go out with a group of friends my mind is set on drinking, dancing and having a good time. If there is few drinks to select from, the odds that I go back is slim to none. Same goes for when I am on the dance floor, if the music selection is poor then not only is it the first at this club, but is also the last. In Order for a club to succeed in the real world, they got to better themselves. They have to see and be willing to change those little things that may just drive the customers away.

There are a few things in Club IT that need to be evaluated, things like there ordering system. While ordering things from sysco.com is a great way to go about things, I believe that if they could create a system that would automatically do the ordering for them when products got low, things would be a lot easier. Stores like Wal-Mart have a computer system that when an item is purchased it tells the main computer that they need so many of these items, the information is then sent to a shipping warehouse, and then shipped to the stores. Now Club IT’s computer system is nowhere near the size of Wal-Mart’s, but if Club IT could create a program that makes a list when an item is purchased from their bar of out of the kitchen; I believe that it would make it a lot easier to do their ordering. Another thing that I have found that could use a little work is the drink menu.

Even though they have some good drinks, there is not much of a list. I personally know when I go out I like to get something different than the person sitting next to me. Do a little research, get some fresh idea, and try them out. It does not have to be on the menu permanent; they can make a weekend special and if people seem to like it then adding it to the menu would be appropriate.

The Third thing...
