The simulation is an interactive program that places one in the role of a manager in an actual business situation, which would requires critical thinking and decision-making to identify evaluate and solve problems.   This paper gives information and details about general decision making processes, the steps and goals that it would take to accomplish them and the possible outcomes. With efficient and effective critical thinking a business could turn a potentially negative situation into a positive one.

Credenhill Industries is a successful mobile telephone business with subsidiary companies that sell colas and retail electronics with a total net worth of $3 million.  Linda James is one of the Top Entrepreneurs and is part of this winning executive team at Credenhill Industries.   Credenhill Industries offers an innovative Thorough-Cred management development program for their brightest young managers.   Linda James supervises the Thorough-Cred management development program and awards the opportunity for select young managers for a track career path in the organization.   Our team has been selected to participate in the program and given the task to manage the retail electronics company for five months.

Credenhill’s retail electronics store has a number of problems and issues from plummeting sales to city code violations, which need to be addressed and resolved.   The simulation provided all the data needed to assess the situation, metrics, and options for solutions, each requiring critical thinking and decision-making steps. The simulation also used the decision tree, performance ratings, cause-and-effect diagrams, and an urgency-critical matrix.
