Business-to-Business (B2B), briefly speaking, is a general relationship between the company and its partners, agents, suppliers, distributors, and retail sales and services.

Network of manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors (which are links in the supply chain) can grow to very large sizes. Complex system of supply management can be greatly facilitated by automating the flow of relevant information and integrate data on sales and delivery times. It should be noted that this chain can be even longer, eg forecasting, planning, purchasing, production, storage, implementation of agreements and contracts, sales, service, etc. The more processes, the greater the possibility of their improvement through the use of Internet technologies.

The foundation of modern forms of organization between the parties is a long-term partnership.
