Rough Draft * patriotism 

"Patriotism is the virtue of the vicious", (Wilde). True patriotism has been long ago distinguished as an implication to defend the country and one s life from " governmental oppression”. In comparison to moderns day definition patriotism is having or expressing devotion to and supporter for ones country (Webster). Patriotism a vigorous attempt to defend the country rather an emotion expressed when a soldiers puts his life at risk, extreme courage acquired by a president , or a  brave individuals voice for freedom. Patriotism, sensibly a prideful expression, which a citizen who resembles leadership, courage and voice represents; not only a "devotion" to your country but enough determination to stand up for morals. 

" He who sincerely loves his country , laves the fragrance of a good name to a hundred ages"( the biographical magazine).  A love for a country that binds the Alaskan to icy blizzards or even that African to that excruciating drought. In other words someone willing to lead a group of citizens and fight for their country, regardless of the situation. For example, George Washington the first president unwillingly portrayed patriotism by freeing the United States of America from British rule. He took the initiative action as a leader and paved the path of freedom for all Americans.  George Washington a replica of a leader delineates a profound patriot, a bravura personal and bold to represent his country while expressing an indifferent attitude of what the effects may be.  Although, a president may come as an archetype of patriotism there are those whom are a complete contrast of patriotism. Instead they exemplify a disloyal, untrustworthy individual.
