Impact of Work Culture on employee Morale

Organizational culture can be defined as a cognitive framework consisting of attitudes, values, behavioural norms, and expectations shared by the organizational members Threre is a great impact of work culture on an employee behaviour . An employee when works in any organization is aware of the norms that he is following in that organization. If these norms completely suits to his personality, he will definitely enjoy his work and continue to work with the same organization without remaining absent on his work. Human nature is very different . An employee though is abide by the rules of an organization does not want the burden of his work. If these thing are not happening he will be disturbed and will not be able to maintain the balance between his personal and professional life.

Culture is a vehicle through which an individual contributes, co-ordinates his activities to achieve common goals and expectation. But what if this vehicle id not in the proper condition, ie. If an employee is not be able to ride on it he will never be achieve his goals and expectations.

Morale is an indicator of an employee towards their job , superior and environment. It represents a composite feelings of attitude and sentiments that contribute to general feelings of satisfaction. This all depends on the atmosphere he is working with ie the work culture he is following. If the working conditions are not satisfied, one can never see the positive attitude in his job and superior.

Morale is the sum total of employee attitude, feeling and sentiments and product of motivation and group relationship. But if they do not have a person to understand the feeling and sentiments, how can they be motivated, ie proper leadership is very important factor of a work culture which affects a lot. If employees are motivated with the proper leadership it can change many things at a glance.
