Practice Makes Perfect

People have their own hobbies which they really like to do in their free time. One of my favorite ones is playing badminton. As a quote “Practice Makes Perfect”, I practice playing that sport and play well now. The truth is that being good at a sport is not easy in a short time; on the contrary, it takes a long period to get through all the steps which leads to the top of an achievement. Specifically, badminton requires both the interest and the skills of a good player.

First of all, I have played around and got familiar with badminton since I was very young. At the age of three, I used to go to the badminton court with my father every weekend and the interest of playing this sport arose to me. A year later, my father bought for me my own racket and I played with some other boys while my father took a break. Although I was too young then and first played badminton, my performance made others be surprised. From then, in order to have enough energy for badminton games later, I also got up early and walked with my father every morning.

Next, when I was in elementary school, I joined in a badminton club to practice my skill. At that club, we studied the basic skills and played some small games each week. Even though that was a basic class, I learned a lot of fundamental understanding in this complicated sport. I learned about the size of a badminton court which was 6.1 meters in width and 13.4 meters in length.
