ABSTRACT

In this time in our society the service industry has changed. It has changed to accommodate the change of times. In the world of technology the service industry can be very complicated. Many companies have moved to modern technologies however this process can be very complicated. There are many service industries however one that can make IT very simple is Softek.

In December 1982 the world of Information Technology changed. In a town called Monterrey, Mexico a small IT company embarked on a service industry that would forever change with the times. This company was called Softek. Softek is a small company that introduced near shore services concepts as Global Delivery Centers. Softek offers the service of IT management and Business technology applications. Simply making IT very simple and plain for major companies.

Softek’s mission is to maximize the value of the application portfolio of its client. Softek’s main service is to provide the best business processing solutions as a global provider of Information Technology. Softek’s cooperate office is located in Mexico while operating in 30 other locations across the globe. Softek’s operates in North America, South America, and Europe. Two major areas besides Monterrey, Mexico are China and Brazil.

According to Kerin (2013), target marketing is one or more specific groups of potential consumers toward which an organization directs its marketing program. In cornering the market of great IT service Softek’s mission is to serve outstanding IT and Business applications. Softek’s target is just not the Fortune 500m companies it also attracts small and local organizations that may seem small but need the service.
