Motivation Proposal for Exercise Plan

Feldman (2013) indicates intrinsic is inspiration provided from an activity itself. For instance, feeling good about yourself after working out or doing a job that inspired you to work harder; self-gratification was what motivated you. Extrinsic motivation is defined as motivation that stems from consequences of an activity. For instance, my friend ask me is I would take care of her mother that is sick in bed, and she would pay me $15.00 an hour to do so. I would be doing this because of the consequences it will have (Feldman, 2013).

The motivation proposal I am working on will be for my friends and family. I would like to motivate them in both intrinsic and extrinsic. By proposing an exercise program that they will accomplish will be intrinsic because they will feel good about themselves after working out and extrinsic because they will also gain their rewards from doing it, such as being healthier, staying fit, and losing weight. So both types of motivates will play a role in the proposal. The results that I hope to gain from this proposal are that my friends and family will give this a try and continue to be inspired by this exercise plan. By knowing that I was able to create such plan that would keep them motivated would be the best results that I can hope for. This will be intrinsic for me, by doing a job and feeling good about me once it is completed (Jennaugustus, 2013).

I will create a chart for each individual, and it will have what needs to be done throughout the week. Also they will have to document their weight at the beginning of each week and at the end of week so that they will be able to see the process that they have made and this will be motivation for them. At the end of the week they will get to see the results of their hard work at the end of each week. By the end of each day they will...
