1. If I plan to open a new manufacturing in these developing countries China or India, first I would evaluate how is labor legislation there, I am conscious that no matter how poverty are in these countries, I’m able to offer them all labor rights, because It’s enough to me that in these countries the minimum salary is less than in my country so It’s enough to reduce costs, It’s not necessary violate labor rights to earn more profits, or to reduce costs.

I think labor outsourcing is a good strategy to companies; the problem is how companies handle this strategy. It’s not bad If a company want to have a workforce in a developing country, but the company should respect people labor rights, companies which violate labor rights soon or late are exposed to the scandals.

2. We think sweetshops will never be eliminate, because people in developing countries need to work, and if in their countries aren’t enough companies which can offer them a job, they have the necessity of looking underpaid jobs in these famous sweetshop, because they have no choice. If the sweetshops wouldn’t exist might people would find illegal jobs like prostitution, drug trafficking, delinquency; and also people can die of hunger.

3. We are agree with the fact that sweetshop should respect the labor rights. Might it can’t be possible to pay the same wages of United States in China or some other developing country, because each country has different regulations; even though they should respect their rights in work. For companies is not easy to paid all of workers’ benefits, because it means more money to output, but in a long term it is so beneficial to companies because they can get prestige.
