Executive Summary

Employee sensitivity causes when they could not control their feelings so that their behavior and attitude goes against the organization. This unfavorable event can be prevented by taking measures like Training on Employee Sensitivity Awareness Program. The core aim of Sensitivity Training is to learn how to better understand and appreciate the differences in other people. The session asks training participants to put themselves into another person's place in hopes that they will be able to better relate to others who are different than they are. The importance of employee sensitivity awareness program is closely related to the service industry. Our study comprehensively covered the intensity of this program for one of the leading health care institution, Apollo Hospitals Dhaka. The hospital has employed around 1600 employees those are rolling in the different departments with different responsibilities. The fact shows from our study that very often staffs do not understand why they feel and act as they do and how the others feel about them. Some people are insensitive to the effects of their behavior upon others and their orders upon subordinates. Sensitivity training helps such people to understand the impact of their behavior on others. Most of the people concentrate on what they are going to say rather than what the others are saying. Our main objective of this training is to help people understand themselves better and to develop the communication skills of the employers and develops them as good listeners. It also helps the participants to form into informal groups and teams and work more effectively.
