Galivan’s House is a halfway house that is located in Tucson, Arizona. It is an affordable livinghouse along with a sober environment. Halfway houses are usually known as

rehabilitations. Galivan’s House is specialized in prevention for recovering addicts. This halfway house is both for men and women and is private. Galivan’s House utilizes a sober living model for addicts that come after their drug detox and/or addiction treatments or maybe even from being incarcerated. Galivan’s House believes that recovering addicts will find it difficult to present themselves in the public eye once they are out of jail or any treatments, this is easy for non-addicts and this is one of Galivans best features. All halfway houses are different. They are all ran differently; management, features provided, and the environment they lead up too. Galivan’s Halfway House believes in sober living. They are known to have a sober environment and it is well taught and learned. Galivans house also accepts addicts at any level of recovery, they are willing to help anyone who is in need. This halfway house is known to be Tucson’s leading halfway house and is known to handle the toughest cases. The main model for this halfway house is to utilize a sober living lifestyle. Galivans house also provides different levels of freedom and helps the recovering addict to socialize. According to Karen, the office manager of Galivans House, many recovering addicts gain a sober lifestyle for many years to come, this is because they are so comfortable at the Galivan house that they have chosen to stay for months or years at a time if they are allowed too.
