The Shard is the tallest building in EU (306.9 meters).

Entrepreneur Irvine Seller employed renowned architect, Renzo Piano, to design the skyscraper.

An impressive list of top of the line building and consultancy firms made up the ‘building team’ that was to construct the luxurious mix use tower.

Immense amount of capital investment and workforce were employed in the project.

The Shard skeleton is an impressing hybrid of steel and concrete frames around a concrete spine, enclosed in an expensive white glass, which gives the high-rise the seamless and delicate façade intended by the designers.

Each element and structure chosen serves a calculated and efficient purpose.
