Personality Interview

With the world’s population as large as it is, there is always going to be a conflict between two or more people. A person’s individuality is often seen through their personality. Personality can be seen in the way someone acts in public, the clothes they wear, and anything else that can show others a glimpse into the passion of that person. In this paper, I will interview someone that I work with, but have not had the opportunity to learn more about this person, on a personal level.

The person that I interviewed is a male named Brandon, who is around forty years of age. Our interview was held after work at a relaxing, coffee shop where we could spend time talking and there would be no pressure to finish quickly. The interview was planned this way in order to get complete and relaxed answers to the questions without any interference. This would help to relieve the tense feeling that can sometimes come from being asked questions from people you do not know.

Starting off with the easy questions, I got to know a little background information about Brandon. This is a person that has come from a meager background with his mother being the only adult representation in his life. Brandon was an average student in school earning B’s and C’s with the occasional grade of D showing up on his report cards. I got the impression that Brandon’s mother played the biggest role in what type of person he has become today. He spoke to me of how his mother worked extremely hard for her money and would try to get Brandon what he would wish for, as a child.

Knowing this type of information helps to better understand the answers in the forthcoming questions. As I got to listen to the answers from Brandon, I learned several things.
