Human Emotions
Define Human Emotions?

After reading nine reference books by various authors. I define emotions as feelings
expressed in body actions or in mind actions. These feelings are based on our thoughts, past
experiences, self knowledge that in which we believe is truth, our upbringing, and our belief and
value system. All the things that develops our personality. Your emotions are expressed when
we respond to particular experiences. around us that affect our behavior. Part of the life process
is to manage our emotions for proper spiritual growth and rational decision making.
Therefore this leads me to agree with author A Guide to Rational Living. They state that
"Emotion is a life process that includes perceiving, moving, and thinking. These emotions
includes three things: 1. An internal feeling state, usually accompanied by interpretations of yes,
thoughts about what is happening to you. 2. A whole set of physiological changes, which help
you keep in touch with and maintain a normal balance in your environment. 3. Various patterns
of active behavior, stimulated by your stirred-up physiological state and expressing your more or
less agitated psychological reactions (Ellis and Harper, 1997, p23).
I agree with these authors based on my own experiences dealing with my emotions. I work as
an investigator and my clients are not always the good people. When I deal with these people
some of their actions bring up emotions I’ve dealt with in the past or agitate me that my thoughts
get stirred-up and actions or behavior reflects that emotion in me.
According to the book, The Dance of Anger, she wrote. "The “Nice Lady” Syndrome, in
situations that might realistically evoke anger or protest, we stay silent or become tearful, self-
critical, or hurt. If we do feel angry, we keep it to ourselves in...
