PREFACE
Aim/ Purpose
This assignment is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the theory and practice of E-Business into the modern way of developing and operating supermarkets. The ways of doing business is moving in a faster paste through time, thus requiring innovation and implementation of technology, the usefulness of implementing E-Business is demonstrated throughout the assignment.
Assumption of the reader
Throughout a small survey performed by our team members, it was a surprise to know that many people assumes that technology means the end of supermarket.
We agreed to disagree, that technology is the end of classic supermarkets but not supermarket itself.
Thus going through a lot of analytical work, the assignment is designed to change the perception of people that E-Business is the future of supermarkets
It is not necessary to have extensive knowledge of ICT to use and understand this assignment effectively. Individuals using this assignment may benefit from having basic knowledge of E-Business.
Organization
This assignment is organized stepwise from the point where technology was just a discovery to a point where how technology can drag supermarkets to high level through E-Business.
Readers will clearly understand to how extent implementing E-Business can be effective.
How to use the assignment effectively
For ease of understanding, the assignment is divided into self-contained chapters of progress of supermarkets with and without E-Business.
