Tips for pronunciation;
1.The letter U is pronounced "oo". Like the word "do" with an R added onto it.
2. CH This is one of the hardest pronunciations to write out. If the CH is at the end of a word (like lach "flame'), then it is pronounced almost like the Scottish "loch". If the CH is at the beginning of a word (like chae "earth"), the nearest pronunciation is an H. For example, chae would be pronounced more like "hi" than "chye".
3. DH DH is pronounced like TH, but there are two ways of pronouncing TH in English: TH as in "hath", and TH as in "these".
