I chose a married couple in their later twenties with seven month old twin girls. Brenda works at the hospital as an occupational therapist. Mark worked in telecommunication, traveling and never had a steady location. When they realized that they were going to have twins the decision was made that Mark would become a stay at home dad. Daycare alone would cost more than what mark would be making. Before the children arrived they split chores evenly according to their recollection. Brenda did laundry, some cooking, cleaning, and occasional yard work. Mark would do yard work, some cooking, some cleaning and the bills. Now after their twins Mark takes care of the kids, cleans, cook, laundry and every couple of days gets an hour of personal time which he mostly spends shopping for food and items that are needed around the house without the kids. He does not have time for yard work and the bills keep be set aside but eventually paid, instead of early. Brenda has picked up an official manger role to assist in the lost income. Since taking on more responsibility she has less time for the children and manages to help around the house as much as possible.
