AES has its own special corporate value. The founders of AES had stressed social values in the organization over profits. They believed if they made the company that was honest, treated people fairly, and provide safe, clean energy the profits would be made. When they proceed some project in overseas, they firstly concern about their corporate values and continue to sustain it equally. These values are goal and aspirations to guide the efforts of the people of AES as they carry out the business. Values are as below.

* b. Fairness: The desire of AES has been to treat fairly its people, its customers, its suppliers, its stockholders, governments, and the communities.

* d. Social responsibility: AES has a responsibility to be involved in projects that provide social benefits.

It was also important for success of AES. AES is known as one of the “empowered organizations” where employees were able to make decisions and act according to their own judgment in accordance with corporate values. The founder compared the company to an ecosystem in response to questions for the success of the organization. This can be obtained when there exists a trust between members.
