In today’s modern world our fuel needs are causing drastic effects to our environment. A large portion of our consumer base is becoming more concerned with the outcome that fossil fuel usage is placing on our ecosystems. At Lotus Rental Car we must engage in the forward thinking alternative fuel market, gaining consumer confidence and loyalty, by fulfilling the needs of a more environmentally conscious consumer base.

The need for alternative fuels will continue to rise as it becomes increasingly clear that the reserves of fossil fuels will not last forever. At some point a shortage of fuel will become easily transparent and by moving our rental car fleet into the alternative fuel market now we will position ourselves strategically ahead of our competition. The demand for fossil fuels is at an all- time high and the supply and demand market for which will eventually leverage the costs to consumers to demand relief at the pump. By Lotus Rental Cars commitment to alternative fuels we will meet our consumer’s needs and be able to provide them an alternative to using a fossil fuel powered vehicle.

The effects of oil spills have been recently brought to light in the Gulf Shores of the United States. Asthma and upper respiratory problems have been linked to carbon dioxide that is burnt and then permeates into the air we all breathe. The extraction of fossil fuels also destroys the environment from which they are refined. The dependence on foreign oil that the United States has is a direct threat to the national security of its citizens. These examples will only become more apparant over time to our consumers. This is why we must begin to move our fleet of vehicles over to alternative fuel platforms.

The trust and confidence our consumers will gain will help to move our business model into a highly profitable business market. Our customers...
