Culture symbolizes a shared system of beliefs,attitude,values,expectations and norms for behavior.  stereotyping is a range of attributes which are often superficial or even false to an individual base on his or hers culture or social group.

Education and a open mind are the ways to prepare for  doing business with other cultures. Be alert to other peoples cultures, dealing with the individual,clarifying your intent and meaning. Make sure you adapt your to other people and most of all show respect.  Successful international businesses learn as much as they can about political issues,cultural factors, and the economic environment before investing time and money in new markets. it is wise to learn more about a country culture before doing business in other countries. Make sure you sample newspapers, magazines,music and movies of another country. a movie can demonstrate nonverbal customs even if you do not know the language.  Learn about the cultures history,religion,politics and custom.

How can franchises ensure their products are appropriate for international markets?

Franchise system internationals choosing the next international opportunity can be exciting, challenging and potentially rewarding depending on the vision for the future. Committing to a new country requires an extraordinary amount of effort, resources and commitment from the franchise company.
